Cancer patient care requires a multidisciplinary approach to favor their return to Health in the shortest time possible

When we talk about cancer we refer to long and often complex processes: from its presumption, through its diagnosis, its treatment and its post-resolution follow-up, which causes both patients and their families to suffer emotional alterations during prolonged periods.

It is estimated that up to 60% suffer from these alterations, especially anxiety and depression. However, oncology services lack the necessary tools to detect these needs. Only one in five oncology services (18%) of public and private hospitals in Spain conducts psychological screening to detect patient needs in this area, according to the report "Psychological care for cancer patients in Spain", prepared by the Max Weber Institute and the Mylan Foundation for Health.

Our service is designed to offer emotional tools, provide comfort and help them find the strength they need to face each day with courage.
